Be Strong International’s Board of Directors consists of 8 members dedicated to overseeing one of South Florida’s rising nonprofit organizations. Members are working professionals and retired professionals ranging in industries within public service, law, nonprofit management, business, healthcare, and communications. Their combined expertise has allowed Be Strong to have even greater impact on the community, clients, and staff.
As a dynamic group with various talents, the overall goal as a Board is to ensure that Be Strong is in position for continual success. In addition, The Board takes into consideration the best interest of the organization and communities they serve as volunteers and donors that are dedicated to putting resources together to make the vision and plan of the organization a reality. The Board is in a constant state of growth and welcomes those who share a common interest in Be Strong International and would like to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, individuals and families. When making a donation through our website, a small portion of your contribution goes toward third-party processing fees charged by Stripe. These fees help facilitate secure transactions and ensure your donation is processed safely and efficiently.
Online Transactions: For domestic cards, Stripe charges 2.9% plus $0.30 per successful transaction.
+ 0.5% for manually entered cards
+ 1.5% for international cards
+ 1% if currency conversion is required
ACH Direct Debit: Stripe charges 0.8% per transaction, capped at a maximum fee of $5.00.
