Back-To-School Block Party

This message is to inform you that the Back-to-School Block Party has unfortunately been rescheduled due to the high likelihood of severe weather and lightning in the area caused by the approaching tropical storm. The safety of attendees, staff, participants, and volunteers must always come first.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to greeting you the following week, Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the same time (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and location (Demps Park, 11350 SW 216th St, Miami, FL 33170). You will not have to register again. Just remember to bring your registration ticket (printed or on your phone) in order to get your school supplies.

We still plan to keep all activities intact, including the bookbag distribution with school supplies, live entertainment, free food, activities for kids, slingshot and exotic car showing, and lots more! Project PEACE is hosting a Back-To-School Block Party, in partnership with the Miami-Dade County Government, at Goulds Park (Demps Park) on Saturday, August 21st from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Come out and enjoy live activities with your family, friends and local community partners!
